The Juneau Rifle and Pistol Club (JRPC) has recently been awarded a grant from the National Rifle Association (NRA) aimed at expanding firearms education in our community. This support will help JRPC offer accessible training opportunities for people interested in learning how to shoot responsibly and safely.

Expanding Access to Firearms Training

The NRA grant will allow JRPC to help fund new classes, purchase training equipment, and support certified instructors. This means more people can gain the skills and confidence they need to handle firearms properly.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to shoot or improve your skills, now is a great time to get involved. Whether you are a first-time shooter or looking to refresh your knowledge, the JRPC is developing a welcoming environment for everyone to learn.

Get Involved in Educating the Public

In addition to participating in our firearms education classes, there are numerous opportunities for members to help educate the public. If you have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, consider becoming an advocate for firearms education in your community and helping our initiative. There will be other opportunities for members to support our efforts through volunteer work.

Invitation to Community Members and Organizations

We invite community members and organizations to reach out to the JRPC to explore potential collaborations aimed at educating the public. Together, we can create programs to educate and empower individuals through knowledge and practice. Your involvement can make a significant difference in promoting safe and responsible gun ownership.

Looking Ahead

The NRA grant marks an important step for JRPC and our community. It shows a commitment to education and safety that benefits everyone. As these programs grow, more people will have the chance to learn essential skills that protect themselves and others.
